There are a lot of things that we can talk about,
but we are required to have actual experience to truly realise certain things.
Philosophers may talk a lot about interesting theories (bla bla bla)
that does not mean that whatever (s)he says is right.
It is better to observe and do things
than making assumptions and talking things.
Are you a talker or doer?
Do whatever you have promised.
Practise whatever you have preached.
It is easy to discuss certain things but not many people are willing to put their words into action.
Putting words and ideas into action and getting result is a difficult but important lesson that we have to learn in life
because in this process we encounter a lot of obstacles like negativity, fear, discouragement etc.
and we have to learn to overcome these obstacles.
That is why there are only a few people who are truly successful in their lives.
We need to control not just our inner state like mind and emotion,
we have to be aware of our actions as well.
Do instead of just talk.

Doing and Talking or Walking the Talk at the end of the day is important.
Affirmation in life is more useful. Affirmation means saying ‘yes’ to yourself and to the life you lead, and to accepting your own unique personhood with an inner recognition of your rightness in the universe. That affirmation means that you declare your individuality.
Affirmation means that you embrace the life that is yours and flows through you. Your affirmation of yourself is one of your greatest strengths.
You can at times quite properly deny certain portions of “actual”experience, while still confirming your own vitality and importance.
You do not have to say ‘yes’ to people, issues, or events with which you are deeply disturbed. Affirmation does not mean a blanket wishy-washy acceptance of anything that comes your way in life, regardless of your feelings about it

Often doing is the same as talking. For example, you say something you were always affraid to say. In that moment, when you fearlessly say what you formerly were too shy to say, you step right over yourself and claim a victory over yourself.
It’s good to encourage people to put their wisdom into practice, but what I disagree with is the denigration of talking, thinking, contemplation.
Really, depending on the quality of your contemplation, it MAY BE the most significant and the most fearless action in your life. To think vast thoughts that you were formerly affraid to consider. Other people may not see it and you may never be able to prove to someone why you’re not a “loser”, but innerly, it can be a very important action to take.
Naive spiritual teachers rush people toward gross actions, but that’s where the meat has to be. It can be. It’s good to do act with an open chest and with your chin up. It’s good to have a gait and breath of a free man. But to promote that by denigrating other things, like philosophy is not the right approach, I feel.

Correction: I mean to say gross actions can have the spiritual “meat” in them, but it doesn’t always have to be that way.

Don’t you think that we need both(doer and talker) in a society?

what is the use of having people who do not do what they preach/promise?
Do we need politicians and media who give false promise to us?

Frankly, if politicians only talked and didn’t do anything, we’d be in heaven right now. It’s because they DO things, that’s we’re in so much trouble.
