We all need to realise that we have free will and we can choose.
If we do not make use of our free will and make conscious choices
we will be controlled by other people or reality itself.
Realise that free will is in your hand and make conscious choices all the time.
The reality is yours to control so live your life that you wish.
You have the free will to choose to do anything accept taking people’s lives or limiting and damaging other people’s free will.
We must respect other people’s free will as well.
Attacking their choices in life is negative.
Everyone has their own choices to make and they will “grow” in life as they choose.
Some people choose to be nasty and treat others badly.
Well, sad for them. It is their choice and they will reap what they sow.
There is no need to attack nastiness with more nastiness because that will not rectify the problem.
It only brings more damage to life.
You do not need others to control you.
You can choose the way to live
and you can choose to do whatever you want.
So make your choices well.

wah, eh very hypnotic leh, all i can see is “free will”, “choose” and “control”!!

things are simple but people do not realise simple things. Many people live like zombies. They live in negativity yet they do not realise they have the free will to control.
Choosing is something basic but not many people master it.

I freely choose to comment on this post.
I freely choose to say what I want to say which is that free will isn’t as free as many people are lead to believe but often come with consequence that echoes as the event comes full circle.
I freely choose to press the “Say It” button.
I now accept the concequence and price of my actions.

Of course, acknowledgement of the existence of choice necessitates acknowledgement of the existence of free will. Majority do uninhibitedly exercise their free will, even if they do not do so “consciously” and even if their choices are not ones that we would necessarily agree with.
But because you have free will you also have the responsibility and the gift, the joy and the necessity, of working with your beliefs and of choosing your personal reality as you desire.
And this of course, would include creating experiences that most of us might label as negative. Nevertheless there is no evil in basic terms. This does not mean that you do not meet with effects that appear evil, but as you each move individually through the dimensions of your own consciousness, you will understand that all seeming opposites are other faces of the one supreme drive toward creativity.
Do not disavow the experience of feelings you consider negative and try only to ‘affirm’ what you think of as positive emotions. By not permitting yourselves the dimensions of your creature hood and by pretending not to feel what you feel, you deny the integrity of their own experience.
One must realize these “negative” events are no less valid, no less worthy of expression, than those seen as having intrinsically “positive” attributes.

yes.
They are just poles of the same spectrum.
Paradox.

hmm…mutual respect is hard to come by these days.
heck, i even get cut off in mid sentence as i speak, but yet, the person who cuts me off cyclically will always tend to shift the blame on me, saying i do not show and courtesy even when i say “err, excuse me, but…”
sigh…the satire in that is really annoying.
but like you’ve said, don’t add to the tension. just let it go…=)
and yeap, that works wonders…cheers mate!

yes.
Avoid creating a war over small matters.

well, i don’t think choice necessarily implies free will, only the belief that it exists, but that’s another question for another day.
i suppose i agree with what multidimid is saying which probably is, to put it succintly: affirming the positive is to be blind to the negatives. it’s usually our negative experiences that teach us the most.
more importantly would be to live life authentically.

Positive and negative or good and evil are just fractals of the whole spectrum.
Negativity can be good.
It provides the contrast for us to experience so that we will be aware of positiveness.
Well, the actuality is beyond negative and positive.
It is just BE.
unconditional.
